"Macy" is back home with us now and we couldn't be more thrilled with her! She came back to us very thin, ears floppy and had bite marks on her face. She had been through alot, but she is happy and safe in our home now and is thriving! She is a wonderful eater, so I have her up to 53 lbs now , her ears are coming along nicley and the scars on her face have healed over.
Macy has worked her way into our pack just fine and all five dogs sleep, play and eat together. Secret thinks she is great, as finally she has someone who can keep up to her activity level! I just feel so fortunate I got Macy back when I did. She is still young and any baggage she came home with, can be worked out.
Now that she is up to her proper weight, I can see her true structure and realize she has blossomed into a very pretty girl. I am currently doing tons of socialization with her and ring training, so hopefully she will join her other three littermates and become a Champion soon.

NEWS!! On November 28th, Macy entered the show ring for the FIRST time and we won WB and BOS (over some lovely specials) for 5 points! She loved the show atmosphere and showed better each day that weekend. I see that the temperament she left my home with, is now back. She loves meeting new dogs and has realized that those pockets at the shows have really good stuff in them!
Macy is so attached to me and loves being everywhere I go. I think she feels I rescued her and doesn't want me out of her sight, for fear she will be left alone again. I look forward to showing her more and know she has a great future ahead of her!
Sincere thanks to Dotti Giovanetti for helping me with the arrangements to get Macy home safely. I will be forever grateful for your concern and compassion. Also to Sarah Neely for allowing Macy and I to stay with her, before our trip home to canada. You both are wonderful friends!
